The test group of animals (N=17) were taken in the region contaminated by the power plants of Kosovo in Obiliq, while the snails of control group were from another region of Kosovo – Ferizaj, which is unaffected by industrial pollution and is far away from power plants. The investigation results have shown that the concentration of the cholesterol and total protein in the hemolyph of snails of control group were significantly higher P<0.001. . ....
